These terms are the agreement between you and Gifted ("we", "us") for the use of giftedregistry.com and app.giftedregistry.com. By creating an account you agree to them.
Your account
You need to be at least 13 to use Gifted, and you are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has gotten into your account.
You agree not to misuse Gifted: no scraping, no breaking into other people's data, no uploading anything illegal, and nothing designed to break the service for other people.
Your content
The lists you make, the items you save and the profile you fill in belong to you. You give us permission to store and display that content in order to run the service, including showing it to the people you have chosen to share it with. We do not claim ownership of it and we will not sell it.
You are responsible for what you post. If you upload something you do not have the right to upload, we may remove it.
Gifted Pro
- Gifted Pro is free for your first month. After that it costs $17 per month. That rate is locked for as long as your subscription stays active and uncancelled: if we raise the price for new members later, your rate does not change.
- Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops the next charge and Pro features continue until the end of the period you already paid for.
- We do not generally give refunds for partial months, but if something has gone wrong, email us. We would rather fix it than argue about it.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your card number.
- If we change the price, we will tell you by email before it takes effect, and you can cancel.
Affiliate links and merchants
Gifted may earn a small commission when you buy through links in the app, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate and through other affiliate partners, we earn from qualifying purchases.
We do not sell any of the products on your lists. When you tap Buy you leave Gifted and the merchant's own terms apply. Prices, availability, images and descriptions come from those merchants or from the link you pasted, and they can be out of date or wrong. Anything to do with an order, a delivery, a return or a refund is between you and the merchant, not us.
Reservations
Reserving an item in Gifted marks it for other guests. It does not buy it, hold it, or reserve it at any store. If you want the gift, you still have to actually buy it.
Availability
We aim to keep Gifted running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error free. We may change or discontinue features. If we ever shut the service down, we will give you notice and a chance to export your lists.
Ending things
You can stop using Gifted whenever you like and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or that is being used to harm someone.
Disclaimers and liability
Gifted is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms meaningfully we will update the date above and tell you by email. Continuing to use Gifted after that means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located there.
